Wellington, Fla. – May 11, 2026—The 2026 Wellington International Spring Series, presented by Florida Coast Equipment, ended with a victory for young professional and Wellington native Tanner Korotkin in the $24,999 IDA Development Regional Grand Prix riding Etonemoi del Cabalero for owner Lanes End Showjumping.

Korotkin, 24, took the win by nearly two full seconds over courses designed by Hector Loyola (PUR) on the grass derby field. His partnership with Etonemoi Del Cabalero, a 12-year-old Selle Français mare (Air Joradan Z x Le Tot de Semilly) known as “Tony,” was formed only two months ago and is off to a winning start. Korotkin took over the ride from fellow American Daisy Farish, who won a three-star grand prix with Tony last summer.
“I love these super hot horses, and she loves to win,” said Korotkin of Tony’s characteristic attitude and speed. “She’s as fast as it gets. The only thing you’re thinking about on course is holding her back, and she does the rest. Daisy had a lot of success with her, and my goal is to try to replicate that.”
Korotkin and Tony stopped the clock at 36.422 seconds ahead of Grazina Comme Il Faut, ridden by Ali Wolff of New Albany, Ohio, and owned by Alina Zappone. Their time was 38.160 seconds. Finishing third was Ireland’s Cormac Hanley aboard Santiago vh Netehof, owned by Heathman Farm, in 38.340 seconds.

Korotkin was busy with four horses in the IDA Development Grand Prix as he prepares for an international tour this summer.
“I wanted to set them up nicely—we did very well in the ranking classes here two weeks ago, and I wanted one more show before we head over for some FEI events, and it worked out,” he said. “After the combination, I loosened the reins a bit and let her go. She’s pretty much uncatchable.”

In a popular hunt & go format, Hesslink and his 14-year-old Chacco-Blue son scored the high-point total in both rounds, coupling an 89 in the classic and 90 in the handy for a 179 and eventual win.
In second, Marcus Au of Boca Raton, Fla., rode Storm Cat, owned by Catomine Farm, to an 86 and 89 to end on a final score of 175. Wellington local Jennifer Bliss rounded out the podium on 174.5 points after scoring an 88 and 86.5 aboard Fair N’ Square, owned by Kimberly Narlinger.
Despite calling Wellington home, Hesslink usually competes in the Northeast this time of year, saying, “We changed things up this year and decided to stay longer. I had a big month of travel in April and May, so I stayed for some more preparation here before heading north.

“This horse is really special to me,” continued Hesslink. “My parents bought him for me a year ago when he was jumping 1.45m with Roberto Toran. He always caught my eye every time I watched him, and I could see him being a hunter. I transitioned him into the hunters, and he’s such a fun, reliable horse.”
