Wellington, Fla. – December 12, 2025—Wellington International recently announced that Modon, an international holding company headquartered in Abu Dhabi, UAE, has partnered with the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) and Adequan® Global Dressage Festival (AGDF) with a shared vision to advance the events’ reputations as the premier horse sport destination in the world.

WEF and AGDF, based in Wellington, Fla., are the world’s largest and longest-running hunter/jumper and dressage competitions, attracting over 250,000 spectators and more than 8,000 competitors each year vying for over $16 million in prize money.

Modon Holding specializes in luxury real estate development, hospitality, asset management, investments, events, and tourism, creating iconic experiences for living, leisure and business that continuously surpass expectations. Modon is involved in major projects including the development of Ras El Hekma in Egypt, ownership of La Zagaleta in Spain and—as recently announced—has made a strategic investment in Wellington Lifestyle Partners.

Other assets include an international portfolio of hotels and resorts, sports and leisure facilities, and landmark global events and exhibition venues including ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi and ExCel London.

As a premier partner of Wellington International, Modon will be the title sponsor of the second CSI5* week at WEF (Week 7), running February 18-22 and highlighted by the $500,000 Modon CSI5* Grand Prix—taking place on February 21. Modon will also be title sponsor of the AGDF Nations Cup Week, running March 19-22 and highlighted by the FEI Dressage Nations Cup USA CDIO3* Grand Prix, Grand Prix Freestyle and Grand Prix Special.

Wellington International will also unveil, this season, the Modon International Clubs at both WEF and AGDF. Modon’s investment will contribute to the elevation of the luxury experience within both hospitality spaces at Wellington International.

“Wellington International is an icon of equestrian sports, consistently attracting the world’s finest riders and demonstrating the highest standards of competition,” said Bill O’Regan, Group Chief Executive Officer of Modon Holding. “Modon is honored to be part of this winter season and looks forward to playing a meaningful role in Wellington’s future – extending our support for a destination that already sets a global benchmark for equestrian excellence.”

“We are proud to welcome Modon as a premier sponsor supporting our efforts to further elevate the infrastructure, visitor experience and the quality of both show jumping and dressage sport at Wellington International all the while keeping the safety of our competitors and their amazing equine partners paramount.” said Murray Kessler, CEO of Wellington International.

By extending their reach to the United States, Modon further develops its role in delivering sustainable destinations that embody quality, innovation and cultural connection.
